Tea2Go started small with the vision of bringing the health benefits of loose leaf tea from around the world to everyday men and women. Based in Lubbock, Texas, the franchise has started to expand across central Texas and has made its way here to El Paso.

With a mission to help people build a healthy lifestyle through the benefits of loose-leaf tea while improving the communities they are a part of, the franchise is looking to open several locations right here across town!

David and Alex, members of the Tea2Go team, met with me to tell me more about everything they have to offer, and let me tell you, it’s quite the assortment of flavors, merchandise, and excellent customer service. They showed me their loose leaf tea wall where there were various flavors and health benefits noted on the jars. These teas can be made on location or purchased to make yourself at home. They even sell a handy tea brewing machine so you can make your tea just right.

They then took me over to the tea bar, where I found several flavors of regular and sugar free cold teas to select from. The tea bar includes mini cups so that you can sample the array of teas before making your selection. I imagine on a hot summer day, this would be my first stop inside.

After that we walked over to take a look at their specialty tea menu and the energy tea menu. I had no clue that so many flavors of tea existed! My personal favorite is the Madagascar Coconut; I chose to make it hot since it was chilly outside that day. As it turns out, a lot of their tea selections can be made cold or hot, whichever you prefer. The biggest sellers happen to be their energy teas. They are all sugar free or all can be made sugar free except the Pink Flamingo and are all clean energy drinks with just 10 calories! Not to mention, they are specially formulated to not only quench your thirst but to give you back the pep you need to get through anything.
